But there is hope! Some of us here have put in hours upon hours online to try to figure out ways to make the game's griefers get driven insane, and we found some surprisingly effective methods of achieving just that. Here are five ways to punish the griefers populating the world of Red Dead Redemption online right
If people think lassoing or killing you is cool because it ruins your game, make them feel the opposite and take the joy out of trolling for them. In other words, leave chat and your mic on and when people get near you, beg them to kill you, or if they lasso you bust out reverse psychology and tell them "thank you". They are doing it solely to feel the empowerment of being an *sshole, so when you strip that element from them, you might just be surprised how quickly they collectively lose interest in you and go look for some 14 year old who will legit sob into their
Because of the account being deleted prior to my research and discovering this leak from years ago, I had to find it through a Reddit post from September 29, 2017 (on "r/RedDeadRedemption"). In the comments of this post, one user tells the story of the original leak getting harassment for not being credible:
We always imagined that someone as epic as Arthur who comes to an end in a way that was equally as epic. With all of the shoot-outs, robberies, and heists he pulled, one who expect him to go that way. But one of the ways in which Arthur passes is actually pretty anti-climatic: he develops tuberculo
In a dark reference to an event 16 years into the future, as Agent Ross is leaving with Agent Milton after a tense stand-off with Arthur, Ross makes a snide comment to a three-year-old Jack Marston. "Enjoy your fishing while you still can!" he snarks as he walks away. This ends of being an ironic statement when Jack avenges his father’s unfair end by ambushing Ross while he himself is enjoying post-retirement fish
Unlike many of the characters in the RDR world, Arthur is not referenced or mentioned aside from RDR2 . His character was developed especially for the sequel in order to give players more insight into the Van der Linde gang as well as characters they came to love in the original game. As such, there’s still a lot that fans don’t know about this new outlaw, Arthur Mor
The griefers will see you on one knee and assume "they got you" at which point they will approach to lasso or kill you. If you position yourself just right, when they get into position, you just quick draw and shoot the dynamite (or detonate it by hand). The griefer will not have the proper reaction time, as that is all but impossible, and you can't help but feel like they might have learned a life lesson from being blown ten feet in the air for trying to ruin other people's fun. Please note, this is even more satisfying if they are a whole posse, as when placed right, dynamite can easily kill five (and their hors
The stranger mission A Test of Faith is triggered after coming across amateur paleontologist Deborah MacGuiness. She tasks you with finding thirty dinosaur bones, which are littered throughout the enormous map. Not only is an internet guide required for this mission (because there's no way you're finding the bones on your own,) but riding to each specific location is tedious work. After a few hours of riding around the massive map and documenting dinosaur bones, you'll be rewarded with a skull statue and a special knife. It's kind of worth it for the funny cutscene, but don't go into the mission expecting a serious rew
Leviticus Cornwall is the man responsible for sending the Pinkertons after the Van der Linde Gang. The Gang stole some of Cornwall's property, and that started this giant feud between them. The feud comes to an abrupt end when Dutch confronts Cornwall near Saint De
Her missing poster says that she's been gone for fifteen years and that she was last seen around the Van Horn Trading Post. I scoured that place for 45 real-time minutes looking for clues. I came up empty. So imagine my disappointment when I caved and looked online for answers and found out there were n
While in Rhodes, you unlock the ability to sell stolen horses to a horse fence. Do not do this. It is not worth the effort. Why? Because a basic stolen horse will net you maybe $2. If you want to increase the price, you'll have to significantly bond with the horse, and this may take a few in-game days. And your reward will be a price increase from $2 to $5. Yay. Yes, you can make more money with rarer horses, but that includes both finding and taming them, which could also take a while. In the end, horse selling is a mug's game and it's not worth the time or effort invol
As I was browsing my way throughout some great Red Dead Redemption 2 content this weekend, I stumbled across some people harassing a guy who was clearly making up fake spoilers for the game and trying to fabricate leaks for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 Multiplayer Dead Online . Then, I thought to myself; "were there any leaks we didn't believe that turned out to be true?" and got to researching. I finally discovered one that we should have believed all the way back from 2016.
